Staple buffing mop is used in the initial stages before the main buffing process, if the surface contains too much dirt. It is used with an abrasive on hard metals like Stainless Steel and Mild Steel, to clean them up. It is made up of with a combination of buffing cloth & jute and comes in a wide range of thickness and diameter. They are commonly used in automotive, and metalworking industries. They are commonly attached to a fixed buffing machine which rotates the buff at high RPM and with the help of polishing compounds it cleanses the metal surfaces.

Directions to use

• Mount the wheel securely on a compatible polishing machine or bench grinder
• Select the right compound, depending on the material you want to polish and apply it on the buff while it is spinning
• Turn on the polishing machine and bring the workpiece in contact with the spinning wheel to start buffing
• Keep a Consistent back-and-forth or circular motion to ensure a uniform polishing
• Apply more compound if needed and give a final touch as required
